Cookies
A cookie is a small bit of information placed on your computer by a web page. It is used to identify you to the web server. It tells the server who you are when you return to a page at the same website. Your browser will only send a cookie back to the website that originally sent it to you. A cookie cannot run any programs, deliver any viruses, or send back information about your system.
Visited Links
- Visited links change color from blue to light blue after being selected. This is to assist readers in identifying which articles/issues they have read.
- Visited links don't change to light blue or, after a period of time, default back to blue:
- Your Internet browser may be set up to clear the history after a certain period of time.
- You can set up your browser to have the history clear every time you shut down your browser.
- You can set up your browser to clear the history after a certain number of days.
Note: Browser settings vary depending on manufacturer and version. Ask your System Administrator how to check these settings in your particular browser.
Printing Articles
Air Water Land provides a printer-friendly version which allows users to print individual articles without the navigation for their own personal use.
- Go to www.airwaterland.ca.
- Click on the link to the article you wish to print.
- Click on the "Printer Format" link.
- Choose File > Print from the browser's menu bar; or,
- Click on the printer icon in the browser's button bar.
Search Features
You can search the Air Water Land archives:
- From any page on the Air Water Land website:
- Enter the search criteria in the top search field.
- Click the "Search" button.
- From any page on the Air Water Land website:
- Click on the "Search" button.
- In the Search field type in search criteria (e.g., company name).
- Click the "Search" button.
